Breathwork Sequence

Practice safely.

Breathwork Sequence is a practice guide, not medical care. Practice seated or lying down in a safe place. Never practice breath retention while driving, in water, standing near a fall hazard, or anywhere losing awareness could cause harm.

Stop immediately

Stop if you feel faint, confused, distressed, unusually short of breath, experience chest pain, or feel otherwise unwell. Return to normal breathing and seek appropriate help when symptoms are concerning or do not resolve.

Ask a qualified clinician

Consult a qualified clinician before retention practice if you are pregnant, have a heart, lung, neurological, blood-pressure, or fainting condition, or have any concern about whether this kind of practice is appropriate for you.
